Race to Lead: Confronting the Nonprofit Racial Leadership Gap 

In June 2017, the Building Movement Project released the first report in the Race to Lead series. The results of a survey of over 4,000 people working in nonprofits clearly indicate that bias and structural barriers — rather than qualifications or aspirations — prevent people of color from advancement.
 

Join Nonprofits TALK on Friday, February 1, presented in collaboration with Black History Month Kingston for a thought-provoking panel discussion on the findings of the survey, Race to Lead: Confronting the Nonprofit Racial Leadership Gap.

Stephen Jackson, CEO of WIBO (Workshop in Business Opportunities), a nonprofit organization assisting men and women from underserved communities in building successful businesses, will facilitate the discussion.
