Heather Gerni Intuitive Painting Workshops at Durham Arts Council and Santosa Healing Arts
Heather Gerni's intuitive painting workshops provide a non-judgmental and playful environment where students can focus on personal expression and their own creative journey. It's perfect for both beginners and experienced artists.

Intuitive painting is a unique approach to painting focused on the process of creating. Neither composition nor subject matter are planned. With guidance from the instructor, students paint many layers to create an abstract under-painting. The natural evolution of each layer informs the next until chaos is simplified to create a unified painting. The process of intuitive painting helps students let go of expectations and to experiment, allowing creativity and artistic style to unfold organically.
