As 2018 drew to a close, we were still working hard to bring our visitors first class culture and using our partnership to drive the North East economy. Our Impact
Every year we track and monitor our collective economic impact and have done so since 2009. NGCV commissions an annual Economic Impact Assessment from independent consultants, ERS, which demonstrates the collective impact of the 10 organisations on NewcastleGateshead's and North East England's economy. An Award Winning Partnership
Sage Gateshead celebrated as they were awarded Gold for Inclusive Tourism and Silver for Business Tourism at the North East England Tourism Awards, while Great Exhibition of the North and Tyne & Wear Archives & Museums (TWAM) achieved a cultural hat-trick at The Northern Soul Awards 2018 – winning a total of three awards.
