Exploration and Whimsy at Calgary Central Library 

The stunning new Calgary Central Library is an inspiring vision of what a public space can be. Designed by Snøhetta and DIALOG, the building welcomes, reflects and engages with its community. A landmark that transforms the streetscape, the library creates connections in a transitional area. The signage, designed in collaboration with Snøhetta, is made of wood and reflects the building’s geometric forms. It sends a playful message of welcome through shape, colour and graphics.

Identity and Connection at Brookfield Place Calgary

At 56 storeys, Brookfield Place is the newest and tallest commercial tower to grace the Calgary skyline. The 1.4-million-square-foot first phase east tower is one of two planned for the full block development. Brookfield has branded similar projects in other cities of the world as ‘Brookfield Place,’ including Toronto, New York City and Perth. Each property represents best-in-class amenities for office, dining, retail and the arts. Entro’s bespoke wayfinding and signage program is an elegant and integral expression of Brookfield Place and its architectural identity, annotating the building and its connections to Calgary’s +15 pathways in an understated fashion.​

Uniting Past and Present at The Riverside Church 

The Riverside Church is a stunning Neo-Gothic cathedral that stands over 20 stories above upper Manhattan, overlooking the Hudson River. The tallest church in the United States, it has a powerful history of activism, political debate, and social justice. After a years-long endeavour, a new brand was implemented to create a fresh look for the Church, reflecting the diverse culture and colourful personality of the congregation and community. We designed a wayfinding system that queues the new brand alongside the classic architecture, uniting the Church’s powerful history with its bright future.

Colours and Patterns in Motion at DesignTO

Entro is excited to have participated in DesignTO 2019, a 10-day festival featuring over 100 exhibitions, window displays and events that span across the city. We designed “Colours and Patterns in Motion” to adorn the windows of the Imperial Rug Galleries in the King East Design District. The installation encourages viewers to take a break from our digital world and instead explore the mesmerizing movement of complex colours, shapes and patterns.

Entro Receives Three Awards From Chicago Athenaeum

Each year, The Chicago Athenaeum presents the Good Design awards for the most innovative and cutting-edge industrial, product, and graphic designs produced around the world. We are pleased to announce that this year The Chicago Athenaeum has awarded us with three Good Design awards for our environmental graphic design programs at the Enbridge Centre Parkade, Casey House and the Bahá'í Temple of South America.
