The Impact Studio Advisory Committee prioritizes initiatives for the Provost’s review that will create the largest positive impact on Oregon State’s mission. As initiatives are being developed and launched, we appreciate and rely heavily on the Advisory Committee's deep knowledge, equitable practices and diverse perspectives.

GATEWAY INITIATIVE
Phase: Pilot

The Gateway Initiative was given birth in 2017 as an opportunity to address the needs of place bound high-need community college students. Jeff Sherman and a dedicated team with support from the Impact Studio nurtured the program in 2018 through Incubation and a Pilot with Portland Community College. OUTDOOR ECONOMY INITIATIVE (OEI)
Phase: Incubate

When you connect a $16B industry creating 172,000 jobs in Oregon with talented Oregon State teams, strong partnerships, and our Studio you're bound to create an Impact. The Outdoor Economy Initiative is in Incubation with Impact Studio, and new OEI Director Lee Davis, formerly of Mazamas, is leading the charge. Click to read more

Impact Studio Design Interns gain hands-on experience researching the potential of business initiatives originating from the Oregon State University community.
