Saturday my partner, Tim, and I headed to NYC to celebrate our 15-year anniversary and see the Gloria Steinem play. We discuss the experience (and a surprise that brought me to tears) in our podcast. When the above photo was snapped, I had no idea what I was in for and, truly, don't know that I'll ever be the same.
After the Women's March on January 19, I penned this post shedding light on my passion for women's issues. We've come a long way and have so far to go.
Speaking of (s)heros, when I read that poet Mary Oliver had passed, I sighed. Her words have touched many of us. The top quote in particular speaks to me. When I ponder not simply visiting this world, I dig deep. How can I engage fully, live with intention, and have a positive ripple effect? What does it bring up for you?
May we do all we can to not simply visit this world, but to leave it better because we were here. To have an impact and to suck the marrow out of life. Who's with me? Bisous. x
