Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. - Philippians 3:13-14

UPDATES
Enrollment/Re-enrollment - It's just about time! Next Wednesday, at 9 AM, re-enrollment opens early for LCS families! On Friday, February 8, enrollment opens to the general public. Don't wait to re-enroll! It's a simple process and we'll remind you of the steps in an email coming out today.

Board Nomination - It is time again to solicit nominations for your school board. If you would like to nominate yourself, or someone else, please review the attached information packet for the qualifications and responsibilities of board members. All nominations must be submitted via e-mail to board@lincolnchristian.org and received by February 15, 2019. Please include the full name, phone, and email, for each nominee. If you are nominating someone else, please contact them in advance to make sure they are interested in serving. After February 15, qualified nominees will be asked to complete a written application and interview with current board members. The current board will review applications and determine the final slate of candidates. A short bio for each candidate will be presented in advance of the August All-School meeting so that you have a chance to read about their backgrounds before the election. Click here for the board member packet.
Please join us as we pray for God to lead us in this process.
Sincerely, Mark Canfield
Board President

A Few School Needs - Can you help us locate the following items?
  • Christmas Trees - The drama department is in need of all sizes and shapes! We need about 12 to be donated because they will be spray painted on one side. The rest can be returned so long as the owners put their names on the stand. All of them need to be brought during production week or during spring break (we don’t have enough storage space to receive them now), and they will be returned or donated on Sunday following the show. We would love to know how many trees we can count on, so it would be ideal if people “pledged” a tree right now by contacting kristen.friesen@lincolnchristian.org
  • Newspapers – Lots are needed! Please take to Kristen Friesen.
  • Piano - The music department is searching for a piano in good shape to be donated. They are looking for a small, console (not a baby grand) so that students can be seen over the top of the piano. A receipt for tax deduction can be provided if needed. Contact Jennifer Bailey at jennifer.bailey@lincolnchristian.org.
