news, views, events & opportunities
for our coexist community

Happy New Year! Hope you all had a great break...and a great first week back, too!

To keep us all in the COE loop, starting this week you'll be receiving a (probably biweekly) COE newsletter featuring news, events & opportunities of interest to our COE community.

You're also invited to check out our new coexist blog –an online and offline community of COE students, faculty, alumni & others interested in exploring our natural world and our place in it. And to follow us on Instagram and Facebook, too!

Have news to share or interested in contributing? I hope you'll reach out. Questions? You know where to find us.

Wanted: Long Lane Summer Farmers

Looking for a summer job? Interested in getting some hands-on experience in agriculture, distributing food in our local community, and hosting pizza parties in the fields? Then consider applying to be a summer farmer at Long Lane Farm.

Long Lane is looking for several self-driven folks to collectively manage our small student-run farm for the summer. No prior experience is necessary--those who are hired will receive training during the spring semester, and you'll have many resources available to help with everything from day-to-day tasks to long-term decision-making. You'll also have freedom to experiment and explore your own farming interests!

Fill out an application here or email weslonglanefarm@gmail.com for more info. Priority deadline: Monday, February 11.
