Hi <<First Name>>!

The first month of the year is coming to an end, can you believe it?

This letter is filled with tips on how to stay healthy, make better food choices, read reviews before you go, how to find love just in time for Valentine's Day, and some info about my favorite trade show (Natural Products Expo West).

Enjoy!
1.
Stay Healthy

Being vegan brings a whole lot of benefits. Your body, your mind, the animals, the planet and even the people around you can reap rewards. According to a 2018 study by Veganuary, 39% of people go vegan due to health and wellness. However, there can still be health concerns no matter your diet. Project Strong Vegan interviewed 21 plant-based experts on their top strategies to stay healthy and I am honored to be included! Read on to get valuable tips from respected experts such as Dr. Michael, Kapler, Dr. Joel Kahn, Dr. Joel Fuhrman, Matt Ruscigno and many more!

2.
Load up Your Plate

Have you seen Canada's new food guide? They're promoting more fruits and veggies, suggesting animal-free protein sources, and recommending water instead of milk! There are also tips on healthy food choices and eating habits, meal planning, saving money, and snacking! This is definitely a step in the right direction, and hopefully one that paves the way for other countries to continue revising their own food pyramids and guides.

3.
Read the Travel Reviews

Are you someone who likes to write reviews? I am! I enjoy posting my experiences on Yelp, Happy Cow, Amazon and recently I became an influencer on Trip Advisor. I shared a number of reviews during and after my travel in Greece because this platform really helped me find great vegan spots to dine. My reviews also include places I've been in the States, such as Los Angeles and spots I frequent on the East Coast. You can access all of my reviews here, and start writing your own!
4.
Find (Veg) Love

In the age of Tinder, it can feel challenge to find meaningful connection and love, especially if you're vegetarian or vegan looking for the same in a partner. Fortunately, my friend Karine is here to help! She hosts lovely events (pun intended) that put you one step closer to finding your soulmate. Veg Speed Date* is the only singles event just for vegans and vegetarians in cities across North America. Think of it like mini chats where you'll get to know someone for a few minutes, without judgment or rejection. There's zero pressure to tell anyone whether you like them and no exchange of contact info at the event. In short, it's dating without the awkwardness. You can view all of the dates and locations, and purchase tickets here*. If you're in Los Angeles, the next event is February 9th. Act fast because ticket prices go up tonight, Thursday the 31st, at 11:59pm PST!

Don't Miss This

My favorite trade show, Natural Products Expo West in Anaheim, is right around the corner. Are you going? This will be my 10th year attending and I was recently interviewed for an article about the yearly event. Read it to learn tips and insights from the content creators who attend this annual industry event.
