Raising Our Voices, Whistler
In partnership with Arts Whistler, we are pleased to announce the fifth annual International Women's Day Raising Our Voices fundraiser on Friday, March 8, 2019 in Whistler. This show is once again an all women musical event and is part of a global campaign to end violence against women and girls, with proceeds from the event benefiting the Howe Sound Women's Centre Society.
The event will take place at the Maury Young Art Centre from 5:00pm-10:00pm. This is an all-ages show with entry by donation. There will also be a silent auction.

Exposure
International Women’s Day Art Show, Squamish
March 6-April 1, 2019
International Women's Day Art Show is now accepting submissions for the upcoming exhibit “Exposure”. The purpose of this show is to honour and celebrate women’s expression in both visual and written form. Submission deadline is February 24, 2019.
The Exhibit opening, an evening of art, music and community, will be March 6, 2019 from 6:00pm-8:00pm in the Foyer Gallery of the Squamish Public Library. Proceeds will benefit Howe Sound Women’s Centre Society.
Third Party Reporting Option Service Provider Training, Squamish
With the recent launch of the Third Party Reporting Option, the Howe Sound Women's Centre Society and Sea to Sky Community Services invite you to join us for a community training at Howe Sound Women’s Centre on March 1, 2019. This seminar is intended for all Squamish-based organizations, and/or specific departments, who encounter sexual assault survivor disclosures in the course of their work.
Learn about the Third Party Reporting Option Protocol in the Sea to Sky region from the TPR Workers who will be providing the service locally including referral pathways, who qualifies as an appropriate referral, and service for male-identified sexual assault survivors.
