Hello IFSA world!
My name is Max Krombholz and I’m your treasurer for the IFSA term 2018/2019. This summer I finished my bachelor’s degree in forestry at the TU Dresden in Germany. I have started my Master course this autumn at the FSU Jena in Germany. The name of the course is called economics for the scientist. It is a new academic field but it can help me become what I want to be through incorporation of forestry and economics in my future dream job.
I have involved in IFSA for three years now. I started in LC Tharandt as a LC member. After a year, I became a more active member with a position as the commissioner in the UN Environment in the International Processes Commission in 2017. In 2018, I became the Head of Support Fundraising Commission and it was when I had my first contact with fundraising and giving fundraising advice to IFSA events organising committees.
My plans for this year are to start the reporting for the ERASMUS+ grant and to finish the non-profit evaluation for the German authorities according to the German law.
Furthermore, I want to contribute to the structural change to help with achieving overall success in this IFSA year. Most importantly, I want to continue the good work of the previous IFSA treasurers!
I wish we all will have a great and meaningful IFSA year, and I hope to meet you in the upcoming events of IFSA!
