The recent statistics are incredible showing 70-90% of all GP consultations are related to stress, impacting a vast variety of conditions on our general health from fatigue, anxiety, to gut problems and diabetes. Life is fast paced, demanding our attention and increasing our desire for instant results and all of this often resulting in feelings of loneliness and exclusion impacting on our body and mindset. It is promising to see more and more mainstream medical practices looking to adopt yoga and meditation to support ways to make a positive impact and empowering people on their path to overall health and wellbeing- something we are passionate about at Central Wellness.
February is the month of love and relationships and to celebrate this we are offering bring a friend to a yoga, tai chi, mediation or a somatics class for free on most classes, so they can experience the benefits these mindful practices can enhance to their lives. Please contact us by email to book.
We have been listening to your feedback at the centre and are currently adjusting our timetable to reflect this, beginning with adding another early evening beginner yoga class starting in February:
Wednesday 6-7.15pm Gentle Yoga with John - starts 6th February
A perfect “starting point” for beginners or those who like to looking to build confidence & restore the body. There is focus on key fundamental yoga concepts, including Pranayama (breathing exercises) and meditation techniques. Come and practice, work hard and enjoy deep relaxation to finish.
See you on the mat soon,
and the Central Wellness Team
