Chairman and CEO of JPMorgan Chase & Co. Announces $1.3 Million Gift to Re-Engage Opportunity Youth in Houston

As Educate Texas hosted an event last Thursday, January 31, to announce the Bridge to College and Career Success initiative, a Houston based collective focused on re-engaging opportunity youth in higher education and career pathways. The event featured a conversation among Jamie Dimon, Chairman and CEO of JPMorgan Chase & Co.; Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis; Dr. Paul Klotman of Baylor College of Medicine; and Florence Shapiro, former Texas State Senator and Communities Foundation of Texas Trustee. We are excited to support the work of Houston non-profits that incorporate youth voice in their efforts to connect them with college and career opportunities. More details about the event can be found in the Houston Chronicle article.
