Lesson From the Garden
In this fun and tasty lesson, students get to create an edible compost pile, or "Compost Salad!"

Using ingredients in the salad to mimic the different layers of a compost pile, students build the salad, add dressing to provide moisture, and finally mix it, as you would toss the compost pile. The results are delicious!
