February News
2019 is getting busy!  We are just wrapping up a month of Challenges.  Our participants over on our Challenge Page have had a hard but rewarding month of tweaking the diet and exercise. Read about the February Challenge below.

This month we chat with the awesome Natalie. As a mum and business woman, Natalie is prioritising fitness and reaping the rewards both mentally and physically.

As promised last month, client Pat is sharing in this newsletter one of his (many) random facts.  He's the "fact man"!! I love all the talents and craziness that come to training.  Please message me if you'd like to share a recipe, poem or interesting fact to this newsletter.

Client of the month - Natalie

How long have you been training with us?
 Its been about a year,  with the last 6 months being regular.
 
What do you enjoy about training? (eg fun , friendships, nights out etc)
 I really enjoy the mix of training,  cardio, boxing and strength,  and doing these things with such a welcoming and lovely group of people.  Its so great to be training with a group that like to have a laugh.  I also love how you post to facebook and my friends and family think I am fitter than I am!
 
What exercises do you like / hate?
 I am happy to try anything.  I like the mix and balance,  as soon as I start getting tired doing one thing you seem to be sending us off to another station,  or send us off for a run.
 
Has it changed your body / mind / life and how?
 
When I started I couldn’t run the warm up,  now I can run whenever you tell me to!    I’m getting stronger and stronger each day and week and feel proud of myself that I am prioritising my time for myself and my health.
 
What are you planning for your fitness next year? EG goals (like more burpees, running faster / further etc)
 I really just want to be consistently training 3 or 4 times a week and make sure I get stronger (more sit ups and press ups / planks) and be able to run for longer.

The February Challenge - How did we go?
For a month we have cut out refined sugar, eliminated processed food, cut out alcohol and followed the exercise chart.  Our participants have moaned and groaned through many push ups, reverse crunches and lots of wall sits.... BUT how are they feeling and looking??? AMAZING!!!

  Pat's Facts

 Our clients have so many interests outside of training.  Pat is a constant source of random, entertaining facts and he'd like to share one today! So, totally unrelated to fitness, but totally related to broadening our fact file, here's Pat:

 
Saturn: NASA researchers have confirmed that Saturn is losing its rings at the worst case rate estimated from Voyager 1 & 2 observations made decades ago. Saturn's rings consist of particles ranging in size from pea-sized to boulders and are mainly composed of water ice, and some rocky material. These particles are being pulled by gravity onto Saturn, falling as a dusty ring rain. Current estimations suggest they won't be there for long, lasting no more than 300 million years!
