Welcome to the first edition of DotWatcher Digest for 2019. With new DotWatcher resources and plenty of racing, it's going to be an exciting year ahead.

NEED TO KNOW

SCORES ON THE DOORS

The new DotWatcher database is live with the results of events from not just the last couple of years but all the way back to the early 2000s. We created it as a way of documenting the efforts of all riders, but in order to keep it accurate we're inviting riders and event organisers to contribute.

NEW FOR 2019

Budding racers are really spoilt for choice this year thanks to some new additions to the ultra-endurance calendar. A couple of events incite flashbacks of TCRNo4 by including ferry crossings into their parcours, so whether you're racing or watching from afar, we can guarantee 2019 will bring heightened levels of excitement and challenge. The Apidura calendar is a great resource if you're trawling your diary for a window of opportunity.

THREE TO FOLLOW

Often found on a quest for another Everest, Rich and Tom are a father-son duo of awesomeness. They're set to take on the Tour Divide route this year so make sure you follow along for the ride. @richpips
Based on Stephanie Dietze's Instagram account, she's rarely seen at sea level. In fact, you'll probably find her at the very top of a mountain on board her unicycle! @stephaniedietze
Keep up with one of ultra-racing's most distinguished riders in 2019, on the wheel of @LaelWilcox.
