Palm Beach Countywide GIS Forum February Meeting – 2019
Our next meeting is coming up, in few weeks on Thursday, February 21, 2019, at the Palm Beach County Vista Center (1st Floor East Wing Room 58 & 59, 2300 N. Jog Road, West Palm Beach, FL. 33411-2741) at 10:00 a.m.
Our presentation this month is about Emergency Operations during Hurricane Irma, presented by Nicole Coates, MBA, FPEM and Nicole McPherson, GISP - Village of Wellington.
The Village of Wellington’s Director of Emergency Management and Public Safety, Nicole Coates, MBA, FPEM, and GIS Manger, Nicole McPherson, GISP, will present Emergency Operation experiences they encountered during Hurricane Irma. Emergency Management was part of a Statewide team that was deployed to the panhandle to assist with disaster recovery and GIS will share their Emergency Operations Portal.

Join us for the GIS Technology Meeting! Directly after the Forum meeting stay with us to discuss current IT topics, trends and idea’s related to GIS. This first technology meeting will allow us to gather what’s important to you for future meetings to come. Open to government agencies only.
The Palm Beach Countywide GIS Forum is a non-profit organization that provides a medium for the exchange and dissemination of ideas regarding technical GIS issues. The Forum meets on a bi-monthly basis and hosts presentations from various private and public organizations.
