VERMONT HUMANITIES COUNCIL
READING & DISCUSSION SERIES
with Suzanne Brown
Next Discussion is March 8th @ 4:30pm
Please join us for our four-session winter/spring Reading and Discussion Series with scholar Suzanne Brown, sponsored by the Vermont Humanities Council.  This year, we'll be tackling Moby Dick by Herman Melville.

Classic works of literature of a certain size and heft —- both literal and figurative - —can be a little daunting to tackle on one'’s own, and in one big gulp. A multi-session group is an ideal environment in which to relish the themes, —and the rewards are many.

Discussions will take place on Fridays at 4:30 on the following four dates: Feb 15, Mar 8, Mar 29, and Apr 26.  Copies of Moby Dick are available for check-out at the library circulation desk.

FREE TAX PREP Thursday Nights Through April 11

Free Tax Preparation/Filing Assistance will be offered again this year at the Blake Memorial Library on Thursdays from 4:00 – 7:00 pm starting February 7 (through April 11). Appointments can be drop-in or scheduled ahead.

For more info on the services provided and what to bring, please see our website.  Still have questions?  Want to make an appointment?  Call or text (802) 291-0525. This program is made possible by the IRS VITA program.
