Open House
To obtain feedback on the strategic directions and development concepts, the City is hosting an open house, which will consist of interactive displays, a presentation, and a panel discussion with audience Q&A. Residents will be encouraged to comment on how the development concepts and strategic directions help achieve the vision for the Downtown, identify what actions can be taken to make the concepts and strategic directions happen, and provide any further ideas that may not have been considered. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided.

Kitchen Table Conversation Kit
 A Kitchen Table Conversation is a creative and fun way for small groups to provide input on the future planning of Downtown Kamloops. The setting can be informal: a kitchen table, a classroom, or a coffee shop. Participants don’t need to be an expert on the subject, but they should have a willingness to listen and share ideas about the future of our Downtown. The Kitchen Table Conversation Kit includes a facilitator’s guide, a set of eight large-format worksheets, supplies, and reference materials to assist with your group’s discussion.
