SHARE YOUR VIEWS ON DRAFT DESIGNS FOR STRAND ALDWYCH
The council is asking residents, students, businesses, venues, organisations and community groups around Strand Aldwych for their feedback on proposals to improve the area.
Strand Aldwych is home to an impressive number of cultural, educational and creative institutions, businesses as well as nearby residential neighbourhoods. However, the opportunities to create a world-class destination face significant challenges: poor public realm, traffic congestion, poor air quality, security and a lack of commercial space. The council has worked with local organisations to develop some fresh ideas for the area, which will enable the district to fulfil its potential as a creative and learning quarter for London.
The proposals will:
• remove the gyratory and improve safety
• create high quality public spaces
• improve links for walking and cycling
• address poor air quality
• support culture, education and innovation
• support the area’s economy
Our website - www.strandaldwych.org – provides more info about the proposals and how they were developed.

HAVE YOUR SAY
We are consulting on these draft designs until 13 March, and want feedback from as many people as possible to help shape the plans. We are keen to hear from all residents, businesses, venues, organisations and community groups with a stake in its future. All of the feedback received will be analysed and used to help develop more detailed designs for further consultation in late 2019.
There are several ways you can give your feedback:
• tell us your views online at www.strandaldwych.org
• email your comments to strandaldwych@westminster.gov.uk
• drop into one of our consultation events and talk to our team
