The Bags Are Packed...
The bags are packed, the car is loaded, the tank is full, and our Audible app is cued up with a new book. In a few hours we'll be in Atlanta (well, McDonough) for the 2019 GDYM Winter Planning Session. We'll be reviewing our SFC giving numbers, going over the annual budget, and hammering out the details of various District Youth events for the upcoming year.
But prior to leaving, I wanted to drop everyone a quick note and remind you about some of the exciting events we have coming up in Section One. So, here I am, laptop in lap in a temporary workspace, feverishly typing a message while getting ready to walk out the door.
We have several things to look forward to in the near future. On the 22nd, we have a Section One Youth Rally (followed by an awesome Afterburner). It will be hosted by the Pentecostals of Brunswick. More information, as well as an information slide you can use in your service announcements, can be found below.
On March 9th, we have our 5th...yes 5TH annual Section One Youth Leadership Summit. As announced last month, we've moved it back a week to accommodate the Mentorship Conference in College Park during the first week of March. Best of all, Bro. Ryan French will be our Featured Speaker! So, I know the Summit will be both informative and impactful. Cornerstone UPC in Jesup will again be hosting the event. We'll be experimenting this year with a slightly different format that we believe will make this even EVEN MORE of a success. Pastor, Youth Pastor, Youth Worker, Student Leader...please makes plans to attend...you won't want to miss it!
