"Chesley Bonestell" featured in FilmFax!

Filmfax Magazine features Chesley Bonestell: A Brush With The Future on the cover of their current issue! Inside, a seven-page article on the film, written by Don Vaughan, includes an extensive interview with the filmmaker, Douglass M. Stewart Jr.

Now in its 34th year of publication, Filmfax is uniquely described by its publisher Mike Stein as "A Five-Ounce Ton of Intelligent Fun!" With a circulation of over 10,000 readers, the magazine pays tribute to American pop culture and its history four times a year. The Chesley Bonestell team will screen the film across the country over the next few weeks! Here's where you can see the film:

February 16: Boston, MA

Chesley Bonestell will screen as an Official Selection at the 44th Boston Science Fiction Film Festival on Saturday, February 16 at 3 PM! The 2019 edition marks their 44th anniversary as the longest running genre fest in America, and we are honored to be a part of it.

February 17th: Cleveland, OH

"Chesley Bonestell" to have its Ohio premiere at the Cleveland Cinematheque!

• Composer John Soeder to attend •

At the invitation of Cleveland Cinematheque's Curator, John Ewing, Chesley Bonestell: A Brush With The Future will be shown on Sunday, February 17 at 4 PM.

Also in attendance will be John Soeder, the composer of the film's ending credits song "
Chesley Bonestell Scene." John's wonderful musical tribute to Chesley gives the film a real "rocket and roll" ending!

February 21st: Columbus, OH

Columbus College of Art and Design to pay tribute to Co-Producer Ron Miller

 

The CCAD will pay tribute to alumnus Ron Miller with a screening of Chesley Bonestell: A Brush With The Future at their Canzani Center on February 21, at 6:30 PM. Mr. Miller, a Co-Producer of the film and a legendary space artist, will hold a very special Q&A after the screening.
