I am sure you will have seen in this weeks newsletter the very sad news of the passing of Tina Beckford, Beaver Leader at the 12th Enfield who lost her courageous battle against Cancer on Sunday 20th January.

Tina enriched every young and adult life that she touched and was very quickly a big part of our Scouting Family in Enfield. I was privileged to attend a special Christmas Concert outside her house that was put on by the Young People, Leaders & Parents from the 12th because they knew how much she loved Christmas and I also had the honour of presenting her with a Chief Scouts Commendation.

Our thoughts, love and prayers go out to her husband Rob, her children and grand children at this very difficult time.

Tina's funeral will take place on Thursday 14th February at 1.30pm at St.Luke's Church, Browning Road with a Private Committal at Enfield Crematorium for family and close friends. Family flowers only with donations to Cancer Research or the 'Gofundme' page that has been set up in her memory, please speak to Jaz or any of the leaders at the 12th for more details.

All are welcome to join the family afterwards at the 12th Enfield new headquarters in Stratton Avenue off Clay Hill and it would be greatly appreciated if you could bring a plate of food to share and a bottle to help celebrate Tina's life in the best way possible.
