Dear members and friends of UUCL
Your congregational administrator, David, here. There have apparently been some rumors going around that I am having medical issues. The rumors are correct. Tomorrow morning (Sunday 2.10.19) at 7:30 I will be undergoing triple bypass surgery. They will also be looking to correct a slight defect in my heart. We have had a consultation with three different doctors and they all seem to think it is a very routine operation. I feel confident that there will be a positive outcome.
Therefore I will not be in church tomorrow or for the next few weeks as I start the long road to recovery.
There may be a brief interruption in some of the duties I provide to the church during this time. I’ll be back before you know it. Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers.
