Not too late to secure a seat!
The Other is a piece of innovative theatre, a studio production, linked to some moving pieces of writing about the holocaust. Tissues needed, but there are lighter moments too. It's not too late to secure tickets, but if you can't get into Easton's or don't want to order online, leave a message on the theatre's facebook page and I'll put them by for you. https://www.facebook.com/JohnPeelTheatreWigton/
The Other starts at 7.00. It is not a long performance so you will still have nearly a full evening free! There will be an after show discussion, and a "meet the cast and crew" session. You really don't want to miss this!

Old Herbaceous
Herbert Pinnegar played Peter Macqueen
If you enjoyed The Professor of Adventure, you'll love Old Herbaceous. We sold out in August, so be sure to book early. Tickets £10 available on Ticket Source and at Easton's in Wigton now!

Pottering amongst the seeds and cuttings at the back of his ramshackle greenhouse in the garden of a gloucstershire manor house is Herbert Pinnegar. Now in his twilight years, he’s full of memories and tales of a bygone era. In between potting up and potting on, he recounts his journey from orphan boy to legendary head gardener ‘Old Herbaceous’ and tells of his friendship with the lady of the house, Mrs Charteris.

Sown with seeds of gardening wisdom, this charming one man show is a love story – a humorous and touching portrayal of a single-minded yet gentle man with a passion for plants.

Did  you  know ?
Wigton Theatre Club is a charity run entirely by volunteers. We own the John Peel Theatre which is our much loved home, but as an old building it is expensive to run and maintain. We rely entirely on ticket sales and refreshment sales for our income, but we put on free Open Mic Nights almost every month, and the odd free show such as Remembering. Please consider leaving a donation in the box in the foyer- help us keep the lights on and pay our many bills!
