Dear Grad Students,
Do you have professional development questions? We have answers! Ten graduate student Professional Development Liaisons (PDLs) from departments across the university are now available to you for peer advising.
Talk with a PDL to get advice on topics like:
- Where to go to build skills in research, writing, teaching, career exploration, professionalism, or leadership;
- Strategies for time management, goal-setting, and organization;
- How to plan for the end of grad school and the beginning of your career;

Grad Slam: Submit your Video Entry by February 18!

Enter the Grad Slam competition now, for a chance to win cash prizes up to $3000! All you have to do is film a three-minute talk about your research, and submit the video by Monday, February 18. Entries from graduate students in all departments, from all disciplines, are welcome and encouraged. You will not be judged on your skills as a videographer -- entries recorded on cell phone cameras are just fine. Read the rules and enter today!
