Tamra Grace Jones, a neighbor who has sung during our services in the past will be putting on a Negro Spiritual Concert Saturday 2/9 at 7pm. Come Honor Brenda @The Absalom Jones Service Sunday 4pm!
Join us at St. Bartholomew's (239 Harvard St. Cambridge, MA 02139) at 4pm to celebrate Absalom Jones' legacy. Absalom Jones was the first Black American Episcopal Priest to serve here in this country and it's a fabulous celebration. The Frederick Douglass Isaacs Award for excellence in Lay Leadership will be given to Brenda Burrell along with other exemplars from other congregations. Come early to ensure parking and there will be food to follow.

Blessed with a longer Epiphany Season this year we will engage in a communal practice of sharing the Good News. It can be anything from something some one has done for you, to something moving and exciting that you see out in the community.
