I’m quite excited to let you know that I received a letter from Two Dot, Montana, this week from an old friend from my childhood. I was born in Montana, and even though my family moved when I was three years old, I returned to Montana to stay with my grandparents. Along the way I met Billy Morris, who became a life-long friend. Although we haven’t seen each other in years, in the letter, he connects our life histories through Norman McClean’s autobiography, “A River Runs Through It!” I can’t wait to share this extraordinary letter with you on Sunday in all three worship services. Since over 100 women will be on the Women’s Retreat together, let’s fill up the sanctuary with special guests. It’s going to be a great weekend for the women and a great weekend for all the rest of us, too! See you Sunday!

Co-Ed Book Study Group - Interested in raising awareness on what it means to be white and the impact of our white race in our society? Join others in what promises to be an inspiring and thought-provoking conversation. Each session will be a discussion of two chapters of “White Awake” by Daniel Hill and a time of self-reflection. You can purchase the book on Amazon. The group will start evening of March 5. If you are interested and have questions, contact Jane Hubbard at jmhhubbard@gmail.com by Sunday, Feb. 24.

Do you love our Sunday evening brownies and coffee? We need some help each week with set up and cleanup of our snacks. Ideally, we could have four volunteers, each serving one Sunday per month. Volunteering would involve arriving at 5:15 p.m. and staying after the service for about 10 minutes to clean up. If you are interested in helping out, please contact Kim Goldsmith, kim@napc.org
