A Statement from the Artist
"I’ve always found red to be very reflective and powerful in its connection to earth and our soul. With one side you have happiness, love, passion, and lust while the other you have obsession, danger, fear, anger and frustration. In my self portraits, grazing my dress over our native land and sacred grounds in thanks to Mother Earth I found it helped me restore my soul and strengthen my roots."
- Brandy Bloxom
