Amigos Volunteers Needed
Are you an international or an internationalist? Does your world truly span the globe, or would you like it to? Amigos is a great time with friends, involving acts of kindness and occasionally breaking a sweat; all have been shown to positively impact health and well-being*. So why not kick-start February with a boost to your health and try Amigos? Where your friend's international friends, are your international friends' friends too! Wednesdays at St. Nic's, 7:30-9:30pm.

Discovery at Nics is a space to learn, explore, and discover more about God, your neighbour, and yourself. From January, we will be having our 4pm service only on the first and third Sunday's of the month. The first will be our family service and the third Sunday we will continue our Theology for All series.
February 17 - Theology for All
A conversation with David Goodhew, who will be speaking on The Theology of Church Growth.
Is talking about "church growth" an ungodly bigging oneself up or is there a godly way to seek the growth of churches? And given the secularism of the western world, is hoping that congregations may grow wishful thinking? This session offers resources for thinking faithfully about and acting effectively towards growing churches.
David Goodhew is on the staff of Cranmer Hall -- an Anglican theological college which is part of St Johns College, Durham University, prior to which he was a vicar of two parishes in York. David has edited for Routledge the book Towards a Theology of Church Growth (Routledge 2015), and more recently The Desecularisation of the city: London's Churches, 1980 to the Present (Routledge 2019).
March 3 - Family Service

Sunday – For our Churchwardens, Chris and Naomi, the standing committee, Helen, Sarah and Brian, the PCC and all those who keep the church running day to day.
Monday – For all those who serve the church as volunteers. For those who set up and clean up for events and services and others who serve in a myriad of ways.
Tuesday – For Susan and Alison who lead our Pastoral Team and the members of our congregation who are in particular need, especially those with long term illness.
Wednesday – For our leaders that they may carry the weight of responsibility with wisdom and grace. For the leaders of the nations, for our Archbishops, for Bishop Paul, and the diocesan leadership team.
Thursday – For those in physical or spiritual poverty. For the homeless and rough sleepers in Durham. That we may recognise Christ in them and have both the wisdom and courage to respond with love and justice.
