Being Human Festival 2019

The call for applications for the Being Human Festival is now open.
In November each year this national festival of the humanities brings together universities, museums, galleries, archives, independent research organisations, community and commercial partners to make research in the humanities accessible to non-specialist audiences and demonstrate its relevance to our everyday lives.

If you would like to be involved, come along to our coffee morning on the 6th March.

Introduction to Community Engagement Training

  • Thursday 28 February, 10am-12noon, Scape 0.15, Mile End Road

During this session we will discuss why engaging with communities is important for you, your work and the communities you are working or thinking of working with.  We will explore good practice from Queen Mary researchers who have partnered with community organisations and think about the practical and logistical elements in planning and running activity with local communities in East London.
