Applications for Sophomore LLC Due Friday, Feb. 15

Don't miss this opportunity!
Attention current freshmen:

You have until Friday, Feb. 15 to apply to join the ELN's 2019-2020 Sophomore Living Learning Community! Accepted students will live in a welcoming community of students in Greiner Hall and will work in small teams to design and implement projects aimed to have positive community impacts, all under the guidance of expert ELN mentors.

Cat Chau was a student in last year's Sophomore LLC, during which she worked on a project promoting the UB Anderson Gallery. Check out how Cat turned her experiences in the LLC into a prestigious national scholarship that is allowing her to study abroad in Japan this semester! 

Experiential Learning Opportunities

Study Abroad in Salamanca, Spain

Take part in a 6-credit study abroad program at Spain's oldest and most celebrated university, the University of Salamanca! This program is open to all undergraduate students, from beginner to advanced, and one year of college-level Spanish is preferred but not required. Students will live in Salamanca, an important historical and cultural site of Spain, and will have the opportunity to strengthen their language abilities and enrich their humanistic education through the study of Spanish literature, art and culture under the tutelage of University of Salamanca faculty. The rolling deadline for applications is March 25, and applications received after this date will be considered on a space-available basis.
