Please pray for ETBU sophomore Jacob Sanders, as he was admitted to Christus Good Shepherd-Longview after experiencing pain due to a post-op infection in his finger. Pray for Jacob’s pain to subside and for him to have a full and quick recovery.
Please pray for the inaugural Acrobatics and Tumbling Team as they begin their season Saturday, February 9 against Baylor University at 4:00 p.m. in the Ornelas Gymnasium. Pray the team would look to the Lord for their strength and confidence throughout practices and competitions. A special prayer service will be held for the team in the Dean Healthplex on Thursday, February 7 at 2:30 p.m.
This semester, please be in prayer for the University chapel services. Pray that each of the speakers will clearly articulate the message God has placed on their heart. Ask that our students put aside distractions to be receptive. Also, pray for our student bands as they lead their peers, faculty, and staff in worship. Pray for the chapel experience to continue to be a time for the ETBU community to worship the Lord in Spirit and Truth.
Lift up the Baptist Student Ministry (BSM) Ignite services, weekly worship gatherings that takes place each Tuesday at 8:00 p.m. in the Lampsato Chapel. Please pray for BSM Director David Griffin and the Ignite leadership team as they encourage students to attend Ignite and build relationships. Please also pray for the students, who will serve at Beach Reach during spring break. Ask the Lord to begin preparing their hearts and provide financially for students. Pray that the students would be fully engaged in their training and experience peace.
