- There will be NO 'Just in time tics' this year but please do purchase all tics by 4.30pm on May 24
We have moved over to a new ticketing system called HUMANITIX. Based in Australia they are great to work with & donate their profits on ticket fees to our nominated charity.
The profits on your ticket fees in 2019 will go towards Indigenous scholarships:
The Yalari Foundation
- Indigenous students face many unique challenges that have made education gaps difficult to close. Those in regional, rural and remote communities in particular have to contend with geographic barriers, with only 24% of Indigenous students having access to a school that offers study to Year 12. This project provides scholarships to close the gap for indigenous students.
- Exhibitor package tickets (with info attached) are included in the ticket list, so if you wish to be an exhibitor please register your attendees as usual.
- Student prices are better value than ever, so please come along! You will need your student number on checkout and the 2019 code: ST#765 to receive 60% discount on most tickets! *exception is dinner & exhibitor tics
- Affiliate members & their staff also have a discount code: AFF709
- Other codes will be sent to key supporters, presenters, staff and volunteers in the coming days.
- The conference APP will be published in the coming weeks- links will be updated on the website, FB and the March newsletter.

Nature Stewards has been launched!
Over the last few weeks the Nature Stewards team, including the advisory group, pilot councils, facilitators, writers, guest class and field presenters, all converged on Walmsley house in Royal Park to meet, chat, and prepare for the programs to launch at the end of February and mid-March. It was a great day to celebrate the tremendous efforts by the team to date and get excited for the next phase of the program.
Applications for both programs are now closed, and our Melbourne program was oversubscribed by over 300%.
Melbourne program applicant offers have been made, with Melton being offered in a few weeks time. Final preparations are well underway with everyone very excited for the programs to begin.
Read more information on the program
Nature Stewards is proudly funded by DELWP, with key support from the City of Melbourne and City of Melton.

AABAT have released their 'survey of the field' and the response so far has been terrific! The survey is for anyone with an interest in bush adventure therapy or nature based interventions in Australia.
The survey is designed to map the breadth and diversity of BAT services in Australia and build a public directory of services and programs, providing a snapshot of the field in the past 10 years in Australia, since the last survey was undertaken.
They are looking for a wide range of community participation regardless of level of expertise or experience.
Complete the survey by March 1 and you might have the chance to win a scholarship to attend the AABAT National Forum in August 2019!
