Prof. Thomas is an NHMRC Principal Research Fellow, Director of The Kinghorn Cancer Centre and Head of the Genomic Cancer Medicine Lab of the Garvan Institute in NSW. In 2018, he established the Australian Genomic Cancer Medicine Centre, and is currently the CEO. David's research interests lie in precision oncology and clinical trials, somatic and germline cancer genomics.
