Today is the day...McGill24, the University’s 4th annual day of giving, is happening RIGHT now and Global Health Programs is calling on YOU.
Global Health Programs is grateful for its generous donors and supporters. Most of our friends give small gifts during McGill24 and this funding has cumulatively become an important source of support for our student programming over the last few years.
This year our McGill24 focus is on the Global Health Scholars program for undergraduate students. The summer of 2019 will mark the program’s fourth year. To date, we have matched 56 undergraduate students with McGill faculty-lead global health research projects around the world and 20 more will be part of the program this summer.
This program provides students with the chance to gain out-of-the classroom experience in global health research. It also offers scholastic learning about global health opportunities throughout the year. Thanks to McGill24 donations, we can accept more projects from McGill faculty members and offer more opportunities to students.
