    Its been a while since I've written, but I thought since tomorrow is National CSA day, it was time. We changed software for the farm for the coming year and I wanted to make sure I didn't lose track of members from previous years. HOWEVER, life changes and if you don't want to hear from me please either let me know by responding to this email--or you can always unsubscribe by clicking "unsubscribe from the list at the bottom of the email."
     If you're like most people you joined a CSA because you wanted to eat more fresh vegetables. It can be a real learning curve to learn how to prepare and store fresh vegetables and I've found that most cookbooks just aren't that helpful because they operate with "grocery store mentality" that everything is available all the time...which just isn't how eating seasonally works. I've taken the time to put together some of my favorite tried-and-true simple recipes that don't require a lot of extra special ingredients from the grocery store. Most are great little side dishes to help you get more fresh veggies in your diet. They are sort of hidden on our webpage.

   If you have any recipes to share please send them my way. Or if you know of any good cookbook titles please let me know. I'm always looking for new inspiration.
