It's All in the Detail.

The longer I spend in this business, the more I work to serve our customers, I have come to grasp one very important thing. Details matter.

Details provide clarity. Details open up dialog. Details can reduce the chance of error and potential loss.

We are in the detail business. We deploy our wide range of resources and decades of application experience to open up a dialog with our customers.

After a brief pause to prepare our first webinar, we are back with a new posting at WireProcess.Info. Speaking of the webinar, if you missed it we've got you covered. And our big announcement of our Wire Process Expo seminar. It's all below.

Bend Angle. Addressing Insertion Force in Connectors.

A wire harness has a few basic qualities, critical to performance and longevity of the device it is installed into. Low electrical resistance through the harness reduces heat and improves overall electrical performance. But as important is the ease of installation and the effect installation may have on electrical performance.

As we consider the critical elements of wire harness assembly and in particular the wire to terminal crimp process, a number of variables can make or break the performance of the most important aspect of a wire harness. Bend Angle is one of those variables which is receiving more scrutiny as we work to improve overall wire harness quality.

So what is Bend Angle?

Webinar Series: The Essential Guide to Wire Processing Automation.

Recently we presented our Webinar, The Essential Guide to Wire Processing Automation. It was well attended and we appreciated the opportunity to present this information as a guideline to the process of selecting the right type of platform and the options to equip a processing system with the right tools.

We produced a recording of the webinar and we are making it available to our WireProcess Connection subscribers. To receive a link to the download, click here.

Technology of the Month: BAS 1000
BAS 1000 is an inspection station designed to measure bend angles, parallelism and twist. Groups of cutting machines or manual crimp presses can share one BAS 1000 measurement station.

A microscope is connected to a PC with specialized software for measurement and saving of bend angle, parallelism and twist values. measured values are compared to specifications saved in central database.

Bend Angle Measurement is one of several solutions to crimp quality validation and monitoring from CrimpQuality.Solutions and our Global Technology Partner:  Crimping and Stamping. Connect with us to get started.
Special Announcement.
Upcoming Seminar at the Wire Processing Expo in May.

After a year hiatus, we are back at the Expo.
Crimping: Beyond the Basics. Preparing for the New Reality is the title of our presentation at the Expo this year. This is a continuation of our 2017 seminar and packed full of practical topics for you to use right away. At the same time, looking ahead to the New Reality. How that will affect your operations in the future. Our Seminar will be presented on Wednesday May 8 at 10:30 am.

Registration to the Expo is open. Visit https://www.electricalwireshow.com/ to register.

Watch this space as we move closer to the Expo in May. And maybe a sneak peak (or two) into our seminar materials.
