Dear <<First Name>>
Belated Happy Chinese New year! We have left the year of the Dog and entered the year of the Pig. Chou gave his annual masterclass about the year and what to expect and apparently it is a year for self-discovery and deep diving into self for healing. The audio recording is available to buy through my website if you want to know more (click here to buy).
Interestingly, today whilst doing some research for a couple of clients I came across a piece of information that relates to Chou's name and it is so appropriate. Chou or Shou is the name for the symbol for long life. As he lived to be 102 when he was Chou and has had so many human incarnations it seems like a fitting name. Chou always talks about the importance of words and the energy behind them. So, his name would translate to the master of long life... kinda cool.
But what good is a long life if you are not living it. Many of us are walking this life but not actually living it. Chou has commented on our fascination with Zombie movies in recent years and that Art often imitates life. In other words, we are walking through our lives like zombies; instead of engaged, physically present and at peace with ourselves. It's a tough one, as we think we are living. But are we? Breathing means we are alive but is that the same as living?
Chou certainly thinks not, and I agree with him. How about you? Think about for a moment. Are you LIVING or just going through the motions. Trauma and pain can push us off the path and cause us to lose ourselves or the sense of who we are. It is why self-healing is so important. To step back onto the path. The year of the Pig seems a perfect opportunity to do that, well to start the journey.
Ask yourself this: "Am I alive, or living?" See what answer you get. See how just asking the question makes you feel. Your ego will be annoyed and want to distract you from the answer. But, your Soul and Spirit Guides will embrace the question and want to let you know the truth. Remember, you have free will so you can choose what to do with the answer. Perhaps some soul-searching, inner reflection through meditation might be a good place to start.
Of course, getting some assistance is always a good idea, whether that is a friend or a counsellor of some kind. However, nothing will change if you do not choose change/healing. From Chou's masterclass, it definitely sounds as if the energy of the Pig, will support it and aid you on that road. Ask, Choose and then Act. One step at a time.
Blessings,
Sarah
