TWO YEARS! Unbelievable! It is crazy to think about how nervous we were when we boarded that first flight on February 21, 2017. And now here we are...it has been better than I could have ever imagined.
Our time in Hyderabad, India has been unforgettable as we take part in many wedding rituals. We have had the chance to visit three different areas of the city, and we will check out another area with friends this weekend. Every day brings a new experience. I've gone on Toddy-drink runs with 'the uncles', compared tattoos with the 90-year-old mother of our host, and nailed the choreographed steps to my two wedding dances performed in front of a crowd. Talk about being nervous!
The spicy food has had its days, but for the most part, I have enjoyed the wide variety of local cuisine in these parts. There are three guarantees each day: tons of food, honking horns, and joyous conversations. I am looking forward to the enormous wedding day tomorrow!

We have spent plenty of time during our journey around the world in Southeast Asia. We love everything these countries have to offer travelers. The people, food, scooter lifestyle, gorgeous beaches, and affordability are all part of the reasons why we have stayed 7 months in this region that includes Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia.
