We're off to Paris in March! SA entrepreneur Khanyi Dhlomo will present a selection of young South African designers at the Premiere Classe trade fair in a French exclusive in March: Mantua Silkwear, MaXhosa Africa and Suki Suki Naturals are among the brands to show their collections to an international audience in Paris. In the heart of the Paris Fashion Week, Premiere Classe is the leader event dedicated to fashion accessories since 1989. It highlights and celebrates art and creation in all its forms with installations and performances. We are so thrilled to be part of this exciting journey. Please say 'hello' if you are in Paris between March 1 and 4!
Capsule Collection at Design Indaba 2019
Take a look at the amazing designers - including Mantua Silkwear - which form part of this year's Capsule Collection at Design Indaba's Nightscape - the creative village and night market during the conference. It's open Feb 28 to March 1 from 17.00 till late. Entry is free. Even if you are not attending the conference, do come around, join the fun and enjoy the amazing vibe among some of the world's leading designers!

Last but not least, thank you to Fair Lady for featuring silk (and Mantua) in their March issue. I had a chance to explain my journey and hopefully inspire other female entrepreneurs not to give up when the beginnings are rocky and take lots of patience, trial and error. If it works, it works; if not you evolve it into something else and you try again.
