E-NEWS ASSISTANT
An E-News Assistant is wanted to help send out the monthly newsletter. Anyone that is able to copy/paste and organise information from the SRP website and emails once a month is suitable.
With spring coming there are many events listed on our website and this edition of eNews. Sometimes there are too many to effectively keep you informed.
With so many playing days, courses, workshops, and recorder concerts we’re keen to ensure that we communicate effectively with our large and growing membership, as we don’t want you to miss anything relevant.
Today with have various channels of communication at our disposal. I’m keen to ensure that we use them effectively. You can sign up to receive email updates of listings on our website which is always the most up to date source of information. Our web team have done an excellent job to make it easy for events to be added and for you to receive alerts. eNews provides a monthly summary of events occurring this month, and you will soon see a new initiative in the Recorder Magazine where an insert will be included with listings.
But communication is a two way street, and I’d love to hear from you how you would like to receive information, and in particular how we might enhance eNews to make it more useful for you.
To help improve eNews, we’re still looking for an assistant eNews editor, so if you think you can help do let me know.
I also hope to meet many of you at the upcoming Festival in Durham, so do please let me know personally any suggestions you may have.
