Dear friends new and old,

We are happy to report that our Oregon Touring test went very well. We'd like to welcome to the mailing list all the sweet people we met, and thank you for making our shows such a fun time! Last but not least,
  • Oregon seems to be equally sentient to Washington
  • The driving was uneventful
  • Everybody still likes each other
  • We met many nice people and animals including some snakes
We also got ourselves an Instagram account! So far we like it a little better than Insta mashed bulbes and not as much as Insta gratification. Follow us @brivelemusic.

Scroll down for a list of our upcoming shows, photos of us playing music, and more about the snakes!

Tomorrow: Saturday, Feb 23 - Olympia, WA
New Venue: The Carlton House (510 Birch St. NW)
We are very excited to play with lovely Varda!
8pm, $7-10 sugg.
This is a great show for Olympians, because we are a very sporty band. Also a great show for Seattleites, since it takes basically the same amount of time to drive to Olympia as to ride the 44 from Ballard to the Udistrict. Email us for carpool connections. Facebook event here.

Friday, Mar 8 - Bellingham, WA
The Alternative Library (519 E Maple St.)
Doors 7:30, Show at 8, $6-$16 sugg.
This is going to be a really cool show, organized with JVP Bellingham and featuring poetry performances by Elaina M. Ellis, Robert Yerachmiel Sniderman, and Deborah Woodward, as well as an abundance of rad art and a zine table.

Thursday, Mar 21 - Seattle, WA
Columbia City Theater (4916 Rainier Ave S.)
7pm - midnight.
Don't have plans for Purim yet?!? Grab your date and your date's date and come over to the Columbia City Theater for your classic trifecta of shmoozing, noshing, and shpieling. We may make a Brief appearance during the shpil, and the whole evening will be worth your while, featuring our friends Iraqis in Pajamas, The Debaucherauntes, and Shpilkis! Tickets will be available soon.

Saturday, Mar 30 - Seattle, WA
Saint Mark's (1245 10th Ave E.)
We will be playing as Brief at this fundraiser event. It's for a great cause – the Middle East Peace Camp scholarship fund – and also features a potluck and bake sale. More details soon, including whether it will be in the actual cathedral: if you haven't been to the Sunday night Gregorian chants there, we highly recommend.
