I know we all know this story so I wasn't expecting a twist or news but I am listening to it just the same. The interviews and news archives are fascinating, but the real surprise is how one man's book/movie could be so blatantly false. It's an interesting look at how society interacts with fear. It's worth a listen.

Some big stuff happened this week in history. If you have an inclination to travel back in time, take these tips with you:

TIP: If you are sitting on top of a box of letters you can't possibly deliver in 1792, fear not. As of February 20th, you will be able to deliver them thanks to the birth of the Post Office.

TIP: Folks hanging around Chicago on February 22nd in 1925 should head over and congratulate Helen Dunham on the birth of her son, Edward Gorey. He's going to make a mark.

TIP: If you are in Philadelphia on February 23rd in 1846, you are in for a rare treat. The Liberty Bell is about to ring for the last time on George Washington's birthday. Let freedom ring.
