Full house and full hearts at latest live show

What a fantastic time we had last weekend at the live show and season kickoff for Let's Find Out, our show that answers questions about Edmonton's history.
Chris Chang-Yen Phillips hosts Let's Find Out
Host Chris Chang-Yen Phillips put together a creative and fun event to solicit questions that will form the backbone for the next season of the podcast on the theme of how humans and nature shape each other.

Stimulated by talks from historian laureate Marlena Wyman, Lichen Lab's Miranda Lucas and Naheyawin's Hunter and Jacquelyn Cardinal, participants then submitted their own questions.

Chris will choose some to answer in the upcoming season, and they will be cross-published on Taproot Edmonton, a source of curiosity-driven stories about the city, cultivated by the community. Taproot's Mack Male, who also cohosts Speaking Municipally, captured lots of great pictures from the day.

Subscribe to Let's Find Out so you can hear the highlights from the live event, and then get the next great season of the show.

You’ll find lots of love in this week’s roundup, as befits a week that included Valentine’s Day. We’ve got episodes on love for yourself, a romantic dance number from Gypsy, burger love, and Rocky’s passion for Adrian, plus a lovey-dovey opening to a civic politics podcast.

But it’s not all hearts and flowers — you’ll also get a couple of harsher takes on politics, a new comics series, a lot of hockey, football and soccer moves, a little bit of dark magic, theatre, education, Twitch and more.
