The Anomaly Archives Weekly Email Newsletter

February 16th, 2019 - Austin, Texas

"Technology is great - when it works!"

So so sorry for the delay in getting another edition out to all of our wonderful email newsletter subscribers. We have been struggling with website and email related issues for the past month and a half. We sent out a test email to subscribers back on February 3rd but about a fourth of our subscribers (pretty much everyone with a Yahoo, Gmail, or AOL email address) did not receive the test and it appears we've been blacklisted and have had no luck trying to fix the situation. And some of those who received the test email said it had gone into their spam / junk folders.

If you can help with these issues please contact me. Thank you!

In the meantime, we're just forging ahead as best we can... if you receive this from a different email address than usual - ScientificAnomalyInstitute@Gmail.com for instance - it is likely because we could tell from the MailChimp reports that you didn't get it through our normal method of sending the newsletter and we are trying to send it to you via the old-fashioned way... through an alternate Anomaly Archives email addy.

We will also be trying to post this edition to the website as we always do but in a faster fashion.

And did you know, you can subscribe to the website by using the "Subscribe to Blog via Email" function built into the website. If you go to any page on AnomalyArchives.org you can see a widget in the right-hand sidebar just below the Anomaly Archives logo that says:

"Subscribe to Blog via Email

Enter your email address to subscribe to this blog and receive notifications of new posts by email."

... and then below that is a field to enter your email addy and then an orange "Subscribe" button.

We're going to keep trying to fix this email newsletter problem but as they say, the show must go on! And what a show we are living through; we certainly live in "Interesting Times". So many amazing news articles and new videos and books are coming out it hard to stay on top of it all.

Below you will find the now several weeks old email newsletter that was ready to send out quite some time ago ... we've updated the news-links section but not added any more specific news items to the editorial below, though there are several amazing gems we hope you notice and take the time to discover more.

Well, until next time, keep watching the website and try to keep track of us in whatever way you can: our website, facebook, twitter, instagram, etc.

SMiles Lewis' recent appearance on Erica Lukes' UFO-CLASSIFIED radio show is now available in Audio MP3 and YouTube formats.

I had a great time talking with Erica on a wide variety of topics ranging from my personal approach to UFOs, the problem of speculative conspiracy theorizing (especially as it relates to mass-shooting events) as well as anonymity issues within the field of ufology.

Erica has recently launched her own archival effort with WAPA: Western Aerial Phenomena Archive there in Utah. You can find more about her and her work at UfoClassified.com and EricaLukes.com. you can listen to her show LIVE at this LINK HERE on the KCORradio.com website or listen to past shows in MP3 format and at her YouTube channel.

Video-of-the-Week:

We are excited to announce the triumphant return of new videos from our INACS partners; board president, Bob Price, has resumed producing archival videos of past INACS lecture events, beginning with its first event at our new downtown location from last May, 2018. This presentation features Ned Wolf discussing dowsing and radionics for personal health.

More new videos are being posted at the INACS' YouTube Channel:

Book-of-the-Week:

This issue's book of the week is by a longtime local friend of mine who is a PhD physicist. We met online back in the late 1990s through our mutual interest in sleep paralysis and related phenomena.

Sirley recently donated to INACS over 160 books from her personal library.

Next month (on Tuesday, February 19th) IONS Austin (Co-Sponsored by INACS) is hosting a presentation by Sirley on this subject at its next Meetup. Click the link for more details ...

Self-Experiments with Consciousness and Hypnagogia: A scientist's personal exploration of consciousness at the threshold of sleep and beyond by Sirley Marques Bonham, Ph.D.

Hear Sirley share her personal experiences with Lucid Dreams, OBEs, Remote Viewing, Spiritual Insights and more! Meetup link for more details.

Self-Experiments with Consciousness and Hypnagogia:

A scientist's personal exploration of consciousness at the threshold of sleep and beyond

by Sirley Marques Bonham, Ph.D.

Tom Campbell - noted Physicist and author of “My Big Toe” writes in the Foreword of Sirley’s new book .. “There are thousands of reports of psi events that have been experienced by credible individuals and competent researchers during the last two hundred years but none have developed an overarching model that explains everything (normal and paranormal).... What is needed, what Dr. Bonham seeks is a new perspective, a new way of looking at reality that circumvents the materialistic perspective that has so completely dominated thinking in science as well as in Western culture generally.”

"This book tells about the author’s personal experience with subjective phenomena of the human mind and consciousness, with special emphasis on phenomena perceived at the threshold of sleep and wakefulness, known as hypnopompic and hypnogogic experiences (or in short “hypnagogia”), which she considers quite special, as it will allow a person to maintain awareness, or lucidity, while the physical body falls asleep, therefore having the chance to explore out-of-body experiences and lucid dreams. However, it is not all about out-of-body experiences or lucid dreams, as she tells about her personal experiences from her involvement with esoteric philosophy and the Brazilian spiritism, and discusses several special issues from the development of her knowledge on other subjects, like for example remote viewing, starting with her involvement with the Society for Scientific Exploration where she met with the first explorers and the initiators of remote viewing research. The author also improved her knowledge of the mind through her involvement with neuroscience, as well as psychological theories of cognition, and research on memory and learning. Her personal experiences also lead her to study the literature on the subject of bio-energetic phenomena (the so-called Kundalini phenomena) and other interesting areas that address the subjective phenomena of the mind in many forms. One important subject discussed is that of “sleep paralysis,” which can produce problematic hypnagogias. In fact she has published a scientific paper, along with Jean-Christophe Terrillon, on recurrent sleep paralysis, which has been widely referred in the literature on this subject, after its publication by the Journal of Scientific Exploration in 2001. This paper is included in the book as an appendix, due to its importance in helping people suffering from this condition. Finally, this book assesses the present panorama with personal subjective experiences in general, which the author strongly believes may produce important developments in the understanding of the mind and consciousness in general, consequently increasing the possibility of experiencing the worlds beyond the physical, or beyond death."

Creating Vibrant Health with Dowsing and Radionics, Pt 1, featuring Ned Wolf

Sunday, May 27th, 2018, 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm
Presented at INACS' new office and conference space:
55 North IH-35, Austin, TX 78702, 2nd fl Training Rm

In this presentation, we explore the ancient art of dowsing as well as the dynamics of creating vibrant health and healing with dowsing and radionics. In so doing, we expand our awareness of the true power of healing that resides within each of us. Radionics is a healing technique in which our natural intuitive faculties are used both to discover the energetic disturbances underlying illness and to encourage the return of an energetic field that supports good health. In trained hands, dowsing and radionic treatment can be helpful in enhancing wellness and treating a wide range of conditions.

As beings of energy, we can benefit greatly from mastering the ancient art of dowsing. As a tool, dowsing is an effective discipline for melding our intellectual with our intuitive consciousness. This process enhances both types of consciousness and through it we become more tuned into the messages that originate from the subtle realms of reality.

This ancient practice of dowsing can also been used to expand our perceptual mechanisms and to replace superstitious and distorted thinking with clear perceptions of the many layers of reality in which we exist.

About our speaker: Ned Wolf is an author, counselor, natural healer, and musician. Ned has written a number of books, including Awaken Your Power To Heal, published in 1999. That was followed by a book of poetry called Sailing On A Banshee Wind and Floraporna, a collection of macrophotography featuring Western Australian flowers. In his latest works, the Nandia Trilogy, Ned illuminates through a magical adventure how each of us is here to express our unique contribution to humankind’s collective growth and evolution.

In his healing work, Ned uses vibrational therapies that are produced radionically, including Reiki energy, as well as rebirthing breathwork.

When Ned was eight years old, a water dowser showed him how to find water using twin L-shaped dowsing rods. Later, he was trained in the use of a pendulum and today he teaches classes not only in medicinal dowsing, but also Reiki counseling and the use of mediation skills.

Ned Wolf lives in Northern Arizona on the banks of twin lakes that overlook a national forest. In his spare time, Ned is a tennis enthusiast, practices Tai Chi, pursues his passion for playing and singing music and enjoys caring for the wide variety of wildlife that come calling at his back door. An avid student of Jane Roberts’ Seth books, he enjoys dreamtime work as well as creating opportunities for himself and others to expand their creative expressions.
