     I’m super excited about all of the events that are brewing here at Eagle Therapies. One big change is that the Shamanism and kids group will be hosted at Fairfax Unity starting in May! So excited to be partnering with this UU Church to offer the monthly shamanic journey group and the kid friendly ceremony track ❤️  
     There are a lot of community healing events happening in addition to our regular journey groups. I feel like my focus is shifting from offering events that keep a status quo to offering events that make a difference in ourselves. Feel free to join me at any of these events!

     Yesterday’s experimental Soul Retrieval Clinics were awesome! This event was definitely a success, and I totally felt like Oprah as I went, “And YOU get a soul retrieval! And YOU get a soul retrieval!” The sharings were deep and intimate from how these soul parts landed, and I am honored to share the space with such wonderful people. The next one we will be planning for will be in May, so watch/follow the Facebook and Meetup events since I’m better at updating those then sending out newsletters 🤪
     The next special event that I’m hosting is the Bear Medicine Workshop. I’m really settling in to leading embodiment based workshops. I’ve been learning about how important it is to have a “felt sense” about our spiritual connections, so that we can measure them in our body instead of focusing on out of body experiences. We’re not practicing escapism, we are embodying the divine so we can remember the divinity within ourselves. The Bear Medicine Workshop is specifically geared toward allowing individuals to learn from Bear Medicine (even if it’s not your totem), and to see through different eyes. Once you embody Bear Medicine through certain guided exercises, we will see how these messages affect us and our physical body. Then at the end, we journey to receive a blessing from Bear for the next stage of our life. Workshop is sliding scale $75-$150 and is 6 hours worth of shifting, shaking, moving, and clearing. We will reward participants with offerings of blueBEARies, raspBEARies, and blackBEARies drizzled with honey. The next series in line will be embodying Eagle Medicine. 
     As some may have noticed, I haven’t offered Ancestral Healing Circles, Heart Centered Sound Circles or Drum Circles in a long time. I’ve been doing a lot of personal transformation within myself, and that means I’m transforming the services I offer. A lot of the ceremonies that will be offered will specifically be divined for that location and time. I have found that my gift is speaking with the Spirits of the Land, so I often co-create ceremonies that will help eradicate certain patterns that are trapped in the land itself. Hence why in April I will be doing a kick off Ceremony titled, “Breaking the Habit” at PIES Yoga in Alexandria. Tickets are sliding scale, but deposit of $40 is required to hold your spot. If you wish to gift more, there will be a donation box present. And I'll also be there with a credit card reader. 
     Events will be planned organically, and sometimes will happen within a weeks notice. It’s possible I might send out short email blasts to announce bigger ones, but following us on Facebook or Meetup is the way to go. If you keep showing up to public events, there are private events offered behind the scenes that I don't post publicly. 

     At this time, I’m in a four year Shamanic training program with Christina Pratt, and in year two we did really heavy shadow work. I was shocked when I realized six months into the process that my womb was in the shadow. It was really hard work, but I wouldn’t be able to do this much transformation without community. Hence why I feel very strongly about partnering with other women who are also trying to heal trauma stored in the womb and make community in this area.
     Most of the partnered events are with Laura Durbin, the Belly Woman. She’s a Thai Folk Medicine Practitioner who specializes in Yoni Steams, and is a textbook of knowledge. Every other Tuesday I do open clinics with her. You can pick your appointment time slots and then come right on in between 2-8pm (last appointment at 7). I facilitate the herbal saunas and run them similar to an Inipi (colloquial term is sweat lodge) while Laura facilitates the vaginal steams and Gua Sha. You have to fill out an intake form and confirm appointment times prior to showing up. 
     Once monthly, we offer the Red Tent Sacred Sweats in conjunction with April Raimée of Antler Alchemy in Washington DC. This is a monthly space for female identifying goddesses to come sweat out their prayers. Seats are limited and this event sells out quickly. This months topic is about our womb as a magnet. It doesn’t matter if you don’t have a physical womb (menopause or trans) because we focus on our energetic womb. If you have trauma stored in your womb, it is highly likely you will attract similar trauma to yourself. We will plant seeds of beauty, hope, and inspiration so we begin attracting those things to our self as we clear out the trauma. 
     For those that are super interested in learning about women processes and getting super into it, a beautiful Goddess Sister of mine is hosting a teleseminar series with live Zoom participation. It’s called the Blood Mysteries, and it’s all about reclaiming the divine feminine within ourselves. 

     There are so many gifted healers, practitioners, and beautiful human beings offering events in the MD/DC/VA area! I can't believe how blessed I am to be in such awesome presences. Obviously, this isn't all. But these are the highlights that I love sharing and I've personally been to their events and know they're good people.
