K/1 PARENTS: SAVE THE DATE THURSDAY MARCH 7, 6:00 - 7:30 pm
Kindergarten and First Grade families are invited to gather at the school on March 7th from 6:00-7:30pm for an informal Board Game Night. We’ll supply some games, but also feel free to bring your family’s favorite games to teach to friends. We’ll have some art supplies for any children who aren’t into games. If you are interested in helping to organize this gathering, please contact judy@kaethler.com or thea.warner@yahoo.com
UPDATE: LWSD Capital Projects Levy 2019
LWSD announced a capital projects levy for the April 23, 2019 ballot. As our communities continue to grow and thrive at a rapid rate, the LWSD has grown by over 25% since 2008. The levy would add critical classroom space and district-wide school security measures. If passed, the levy authorizes a six-year levy totaling $120 million or an average of $20 million per year for six years. It would maintain the 2019 LWSD tax rate with no tax increase.
This is a friendly reminder that the due date for the tenth Math Challenge is 02/28/2019 (no later than 3 p.m.) You can submit your solutions to your teacher or drop them into the school office Math Challenge Dropbox. Thank you.
