Dear <<Name>>

Welcome to our February Grainger Museum e-News. We are feeling well and truly settled into the New Year, and have some exciting news, opportunities and insights for our e-News subscribers.

In this month's e-News we are eager to share with you all a glimpse into our next exhibition, How it Plays: Innovations in Percussion. Our From the Collection item illuminates some of the hard work being undertaken by the Grainger Museum team in preparation for How it Plays, with a wonderful video snippet of some metallophone reconstruction in action.

Our Visitor Profile for this month features researcher Marissa Kyser, who provides an insight into her recent engagements with the Grainger Museum archive, and the broad geographical reach of our collection.

We are currently recruiting volunteers! Have you considered volunteering with the Grainger Museum? Would you like to be part of a unique cultural institution and have the chance to engage with the University of Melbourne community? Read on for more information

You still have time to lose yourself in the bright lights of Objects of Fame, our current exhibition which showcases Percy Grainger and Dame Nellie Melba, two of Australia's most famous musical creative talents, whilst exploring their experiences and reflections on the nature of 'fame'. We must bid adieu to this exhibition on 31 March, so make sure to see it before it departs.

Warm Regards,
Grainger Museum
