Dear <<First Name>>,

Imagination is a powerful tool. It can turn unexpected noises into monsters with harmful intent OR assume guardian angels are simply shifting position. In other words, you can use it to worry and fret about what has not happened OR visualize the many delightful possibilities that could result. Yet, it's still imagination just waiting for your direction and to serve in your best interests. Pretty cool, eh? (Click the handwriting image to read one of my Write On! columns on the topic.)

If thoughts become things, as Mike Dooley likes to say in his Notes from the Universe, then be sure to pick the good ones. =)

In love and light,

Debbie

Write On!
What's all the sparkling about?
Is it a conference of fairies spreading pixie dust, a swirl of flash photographers, fluttering grapevine tinsel to keep birds away, an invasion of twinkling fireflies? Click the image for a 23 second visual delight that just might spark that child-like imagination that still believes anything is possible!
And, it's my first YouTube video! So now you have to check it out =)
#35. Respect your children.

As a new life on the planet, children need our patience, direction, understanding, and protection. Appreciate their innocence and be reminded of your own, when your world was new. Observe and reflect on their unconditional love and absolute spontaneity. Share in their dreams, their point of view, their laughter, and their joyful creativity. Listen, teach, and show them by your actions that they have value. Children deserve our respect simply because they are here.

#60. Extend courtesy.

Open the door for someone. Share your umbrella. Let someone go ahead of you at the market or in traffic Be on time for an appointment, call if you'll be late, offer to reschedule. Be polite. Don't interrupt. Excuse yourself for leaving early, or for crossing in front of someone. Speak with respect; avoid foul language. Say please. Return borrowed property. Care for those things that are not yours. Write and send a note of thanks, cheer, good luck, congratulations...
